Highland Farm is nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, supplying the Northeast with the finest all natural, farm raised venison since 1989. Farm raised venison is available year round and in addition to ordering direct from the farm we can also be found at Farmers' Markets in Rhinebeck, Kingston, Saugerties, and at many Fairs and Festivals throughout the Hudson Valley.
Highland Farm deer are raised on pasture and fed locally grown hay, grain, and produce, which helps create the delicate flavor and superb tenderness of the venison. Deer are processed year-round in our own plant between 15 and 27 months of age to ensure consistent flavor, texture, and taste. No steroids or growth hormones are used, so the meat is all natural and free of chemical additives. |
